The First Annual "Ski the Zoo!!" was a great time!!
Thanks to all the visitors and volunteers who came and enjoyed the skiing and skating and chili!! We had some incredible skaters out on the ice. Seems the folks who play hockey really enjoyed jumping over the snow bank by the Mini Horses. Seeing people flying in mid air in ice skates was pretty impressive.

Bud's huge Bonfires sure did make the cold tolerable. Watkin's Chili was "the best I ever tasted" {at least that's what everybody said that ate the chili.}

A lot of the Volunteers had the chance to just sit around the fire and visit while roasting marshmallows. No time to sit around in the summer like that so it was an enjoyable weekend for all who came. Kids and adults alike all were impressed with the beauty of the wolves and tigers and all the outside critters in their awesome winter coats.
